I love to ski - fast. Though I grew up in Tx, my Uncle in Colorado had the good graces to teach me this wonderful art when I was 12, and I've been learning ever since. At MIT, I've expanded my knowledge by joining the MIT Alpine Ski Racing team, racing slalom and giant slalom. 40+ mph never felt better.

 

 

China is a landmark country in terms of growth, and I have focused on understanding this culture. In college, I have traveled to China as part of summer internships and as part of a conference. I have a strong interest in product design, and this millenia-old nation is a key part of enriching that interest.      

   

 

 

For 2 years, I was a part of MIT's one and only Improv Comedy troupe. Lessons on group agreement, quick thinking and improvisation, and of course what we called, 'the funny' all came to a heading in what was a really interesting experience.
