Me vs. the Leadership Reaction Course Junior Year

GEL.
Learning to Lead.

The Gordon Program has been a way for me to explore leadership from both an engaged and a removed perspective. In this controlled environment, it's okay for students to make mistakes. As a Junior I went through the program, and now, as a Senior, I am one of a group of about a dozen leading it. Below is my team, the GEL Heroes, holding the product of a succesful leadership challenge!

The above activity was this year's Leadership Reaction Course; last year's is in the video to the left. A positive turn of events, my team performed very well and it was nice to see for me how things have come full circle. It has been very exciting to see in this kind of environment how I can share what I have learned in the past year with students entering their first year of the program. I have often heard that teachers learn from their students than vice versa. In leading and reviewing my team, I would have to agree.
