Dischord was my first venture into the realm of contemporary rock and roll. I had played in my church's band for a year and was eager to start something new. When I was introduced to Mark Ellis and Josue Matos, everything changed.

We worked through a variety of band names, and a few members moved in and out of the group, but we managed to create several originals and hold 2 of our own shows. This band showed me what a bunch of students who know very, very little about music composition are capable of. It was a ton of fun, and memories of failed green hair dye, friends of the band, and dollar/dozen day old donuts, leave this, despite its bitter end, at a warm place in my heart. I mean, who doesn't enjoy playing some good, old, classic rock?
