The Future is a band that I've had throughout college, started with a few friends from high school. Working with them has been an opportunity to explore the hard rock regime, with flairs of latin and folk. I have written music with them from China and California remotely. The 1st 2 summers of college we wrote 5 original songs and in summer 2010 we recorded our 10+ minute rock epic. That, along with our past several years of jams and songs, are below.

We started out during the summer after my freshman year, in 2008, and have gotten together on breaks ever since. That first summer we wrote a rock epic, as well as 2 other songs. In the summers following, we have written a few more as well as recorded several jam sessions. Kicked out of a recording studio during summer of 2009 (Classic mistake: getting scattered and being unprepared), we returned this past summer to finish what we started. The rock epic we recorded at my home in TX is above. Recording in-house was a big risk, but one we were willing to take as it meant that we would have the time that we needed to get the tracks just perfect. It's not quite done yet, still a few solos to add.
